Our CBCM Boarder Club school is located just south of Barcelona, in Castelldefels, only 18 km from the Catalan capital. The spot is easily accessible by **train, bus, or car**, making it one of the most convenient and versatile watersports locations in Spain.
Castelldefels offers **5 km of wide sandy beach**, shallow water near the shore, and excellent wind conditions—perfect for **Wingfoil**, and **Foil** progression.
The Castelldefels Spot**
Castelldefels is the **first beach in the Barcelona region** officially allowing Wingfoil **all year round**.
With a Mediterranean climate, warm temperatures, and **300+ days of sunshine**, it is one of the most reliable riding spots in Spain.

Wingfoiling is allowed **along the entire beach**.
You can choose your preferred area—quiet, social, or more dynamic.

Thermal Wind: The Garbí Effect**
The best wind direction is **South‑East (Garbí)**.
It becomes stronger in spring and early summer when the land heats up while the sea remains cooler.
